One person was injured Sunday after a vehicle crashed into the Wendy’s restaurant at 801 S. Eisenhower Blvd. in Middletown.
Lower Swatara Township Police responded and investigated the crash with assistance from Lower Swatara Township fire crews, Susquehanna Township EMS and Life Lion EMS.
The driver, who was the vehicle’s sole occupant, became trapped and was extricated by firefighters before being transported to a local hospital for treatment. Employees were inside the restaurant at the time of the crash, but none were injured.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing, and charges are pending. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information is asked to contact the Lower Swatara Township Police Department at 717-558-6900.
