EPHRATA – A fatal pedestrian crash in Ephrata, Lancaster County, is under investigation. On Friday, May 1 around 4:54 p.m., police responded to a crash at Clearview and Dawn Avenues. A Toyota RAV-4 driven by a 62-year-old Ephrata man proceeded through a stop sign and struck a pedestrian in the crosswalk. The pedestrian, a 55-year-old Ephrata resident was transported to Lancaster General Hospital and later succumbed to their injuries. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and remained on scene. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Officer Adams at 717-739-9200, ext. 270.
