ADAMS/CUMBERLAND COUNTIES – A special election was held in a PA House District in Adams & Cumberland Counties. Voters in the 193rd District chose a replacement for former Republican Rep. Torren Ecker, who left the post to serve as a Judge on the Court of Common Pleas in Adams County. Republican Catherine Wallen defeated Democrat Todd Crawley in the race by a 60% to 40% vote. Wallen operates a small family farm and served in the PA House as the District Director for 193rd, where she managed daily operations and staff, helped constituents with state services, and worked with community leaders across both counties.
