LANCASTER – A Lancaster County man charged with shooting at a man in a Lancaster neighborhood will have his case proceed to county court. 19-year-old Efrain Torres-Ramos of Lancaster Township waived his preliminary hearing. Torres-Ramos and a co-defendant, 17-year-old Jasim Waller-Irons of Avenel, N.J., are charged with possessing a prohibited firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, aggravated assault, and other charges. Both are accused of firing numerous rounds at the victim near the intersection of South Plum and Green Streets on March 20. Surveillance footage from Lancaster Safety Coalition and private security cameras in the area showed the incident. Both Waller-Irons and Torres-Ramos remain incarcerated without bail due to the severity of the offenses.
