LANCASTER – The PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, local officials, and community organizations gathered at Reservoir Park in Lancaster to celebrate the Commonwealth’s third annual “Outdoors for All” celebration on Saturday. DCNR Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn said this celebrates the simple joy of being outside and shows what access to the outdoors can mean for people, from the sense of belonging it creates, to the mental and physical benefits that come from connecting with nature. More than 30 Central PA outdoor recreation and conservation groups came together to offer hands on activities, opportunities to get out on the water, education, and community connection. Another “Outdoors for All” celebration will be held Saturday, August 8 at Italian Lake Park, 2960 N 3rd Street in Harrisburg.
