EPHRATA – Some good news regarding a boil water advisory in Lancaster County. Customers of the Ephrata Area Joint Authority were under a boil water advisory since last week. The advisory was issued after they received a positive test on a bacteria sample at a tier 2 level. Water samples collected on July 23 and 24 had returned acceptable results and the PA Department of Environmental Protection approved lifting the advisory on Saturday. Everyone may resume normal use of the water system.
