LANCASTER – A judge sentenced a Lancaster city woman to one and a half to five years in prison after she pleaded guilty of assaulting a woman and stealing her vehicle by force. 21-year-old Destiny Thomas pleaded guilty to charges of robbery, robbery of a motor vehicle, and conspiracy to commit robbery of a motor vehicle. Thomas and another individual assaulted the victim in a parking lot in the 200 block of North Water Street in July 2024. Thomas then took the victim’s car while two other co-conspirators drove away in the vehicle that she came in. The two other co-conspirators have yet to be identified by police.
