LANCASTER COUNTY – The Commonwealth secured lengthy state prison sentences for two Lancaster County men who pleaded guilty to unrelated child abuse crimes. A judge sentenced 26-year-old Samuel Beiler of Salisbury Township to eight to 16 years in state prison plus seven years of probation. The judge also sentenced 37-year-old William Gibbs II of Millersville to two and a half to five years in state prison followed by five years of probation on the same day. Both men had pleaded guilty the same day to unrelated instances of sexually abusing or attempting to sexually abuse children.
