LANCASTER COUNTY – A Lancaster County man was taken into police custody in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 18. Police had an active warrant for 21-year-old Jared Gower of Columbia for a stabbing which occurred in West Hempfield Township on July/16 and had committed a separate stabbing and sexual assault earlier in the morning of July/18. Gower was located within an hour and a half of the most recent incident. He was attempting to hide from law enforcement. He is facing aggravated assault, criminal trespass, recklessly endangering another person, and other charges. Gower is being held in Lancaster County Prison.
