LANCASTER COUNTY – A homicide investigation is underway in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County. Yesterday around 10:34 a.m., officers responded to a residence in 1100 block of Persimmon Drive for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, police encountered 2 victims, a 24-year-old male, and a 28-year-old female, both residents of the home. The male victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. The female victim was inside the residence and determined to be deceased. The initial investigation revealed a possible suspect, who also lived at the residence. Police determined that the suspect had fled prior to their arrival. Additional police personnel from the PA State Police, as well as the Manheim Township Police department responded to the area to assist in locating the suspect. Police located the suspect at 12:09 p.m. in the area of Route 30 and Good Drive, and was taken into custody without incident. Police say there is no danger to the public, and the investigation is still underway.
