COLUMBIA – Police in Columbia, Lancaster County, are investigating a fatal shooting. Officers responded to the 900 block of Plane Street on Saturday, July 18 around 9:45 p.m. Upon arrival, police discovered a juvenile male deceased from a gunshot wound. Lancaster County Detectives were called to assist with the investigation. Witnesses were interviewed and the scene was processed, but the investigation is on-going and pending an autopsy by the Lancaster County Coroner’s office.
