LANCASTER CITY – On Saturday, April 18, Lancaster City Police received a call for service regarding a hit and run in the area of a W. King St and Marion St. crosswalk. An adult male suspect was riding an E-Bike the wrong way down W. King St. and struck a pedestrian. The suspect subsequently fell off the bike and possibly landed on top of the victim. He then fled the scene on the bike without notifying any emergency services.

The rider was last seen riding down S. Water St. wearing a dark colored red hat, jacket, and dark colored pants. Lancaster Police believe the suspect to be a male, possibly around 18-25 years old. The victim, an adult female, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her status is currently unknown.
