YORK – According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Harley-Davidson is recalling thousands of 2025-2026 motorcycles. The recall is prompted by the rear brake line coming into contact with the Body Control Module, which can cause a hole in the brake line, a brake fluid leak, and loss of the rear brakes. In a press release, Harley-Davidson says that the Body Control Module and associated hardware as well as the rear brake line and accompanying hardware will be replaced free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed next Monday, April 27th. Harley owners can find out if they’re impacted by the recall by contacting Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464.
