YORK COUNTY – The York County Coroner’s office has identified the victim of a fatal snowmobile crash in Newberry Township. It happened around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of York Road near Miller Road. 20-year-old Zachary Peiffer of Newberry Township collided with a downed guide wire while traveling north. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. There appears that no other vehicles were involved. The death was ruled as accidental.
