YORK COUNTY – The York County Coroner has identified human remains discovered April 16 in a wooded area in the 400 block of E. Middle Street in Hanover. Dental records confirmed the remains as that of 39-year-old Mark Hicks of Thomasville, York County. Hicks was reported missing in June 2025. The cause of death was ruled asphyxiation and the manner of death ruled a suicide. Family members have been notified.
