YORK COUNTY – A fatal crash along Interstate 83 in York County has claimed two lives. PSP-York says the crash occurred around 10 p.m. yesterday in the southbound lane at mile marker 11 in Springfield Township. A vehicle driven by 75-year-old Deborah Williams of Middle River, Maryland entered I-83 in the wrong direction traveling north in the southbound lanes. A southbound vehicle driven by 41-year-old Crystal Pasquale of Manchester, Maryland was unable to avoid a collision and collided with Williams’ vehicle causing it to overturn. Two other vehicles were involved after coming upon the initial crash. Williams and an unidentified male passenger in her vehicle died. Four others in the other vehicles were injured.
