CUMBERLAND COUNTY – Strong winds blew a large tree onto a home in Cumberland County claiming a life. Units responded shortly around 3:10 a.m. Monday to a home in the 800 block of Baltimore Pike in South Middleton Township. Three people were in the home at the time of the incident. Two were able to escape. The deceased was identified by the Cumberland County Coroner as 43-year-old Scott Quickel of Gardners. His death has been ruled as accidental. State Police are investigating.
