LANCASTER COUNTY – Residents of Lancaster County‘s Manheim Township, business owners, and visitors are invited to share their opinions about the Township in a brief online survey which runs now through February 29, 2024 and will help inform the Comprehensive Plan process. A Comprehensive Plan serves as a guide for managing change in both the short term and long-term including land use policies, public facilities, and the services necessary to support the Township’s growth. The process is to ensure future growth in the Township is shaped with the input, guidance, and consent of all citizens. The survey is the first of two public surveys throughout the process with a second survey launched later this spring. Additional upcoming community engagement efforts include two rounds of focus groups, pop-up events this spring and summer, and a public open house this spring to inform the public about the process and solicit feedback as the Comprehensive Plan is being developed. The entire process will take two years. The goal is to adopt the updated plan in mid-late 2025. Both English and Spanish versions of the survey can be found by clicking on the banner below.
