LANCASTER – Meteorologist Jeff Nordeen says get ready for Tropical Rainstorm Debby as she moves through the area today. Heavy rain, windy conditions, and the possibility of some tornadoes are a possibility from the system. Make sure you stay weather aware today. Our region is under a tornado watch until 2 p.m. today and a flood watch until 6 p.m. today. Heavy rain could result in the flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Persons should monitor weather forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. Jeff says Debby will take away the humidity so it will feel better over the weekend.
