LANCASTER – A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 p.m. today. Snow accumulations between 2-8 inches for the region along with winds gusting as high as 40 mph. Higher snow totals are expected in eastern sections with lesser amounts to the west. The winds and weight of the snow on tree limbs may down power lines and cause sporadic power outages. Hazardous driving conditions could impact your morning commute. If you do not need to be on the roads today, best to stay put and safe. If you must travel this morning, allow for extra travel time, slow down, be alert, and allow plenty of rooms between other vehicles. If you must go outside, dress in layers.
