MOUNTVILLE – A rally is being held today by friends of Lancaster County’s Faith Friendship Ministries at the state Capitol in Harrisburg. They are rallying state lawmakers to help them with emergency financial assistance to help keep their home open during a time of restoration after a caseworker there was found guilty and sentenced to prison on sexual assault of a number of their residents. Faith Friendship Ministries is a personal care home with 67 low income residents with various disabilities who have no other place to go and receive needed daily care and assistance. Now that the care worker has been sentenced to prison, the home is trying to keep the residents from being victimized again through losing their home. Persons interested in attending to advocate for their residents are asked to email Diane Adams at dadams9210@yahoo.com. A GoFundMe page has also been established to help with providing financial donations to help. Persons can make a financial donation at the GoFundMe page by clicking on the picture below.
