EAST PETERSBURG – A pedestrian was struck in Lancaster County. On Friday, Jan. 12 around 3:51 p.m. officers were called to the intersection of Main Street and Martin Drive in East Petersburg. Police located a male in his 20’s lying on Main Street after being struck while he was on a scooter. He was transported to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries. An investigation showed the male on the electric scooter was traveling west on Martin Drive and failed to stop at the intersection. He was struck by a silver Nissan Pathfinder traveling north on Main Street.
