LANCASTER – Lancaster Police report that the contents of a suspicious package found at the Lancaster Public Library on Saturday were benign. An investigation found that the package was discovered to be coloring books delivered to the library from the USDA. Police report that a separate bomb threat was made through email and that an investigation is underway with the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office. The incidents caused the Drag Queen Story Hour at the library to be canceled. Anyone with any information should call the Lancaster City Police at 717-735-3300.
