LANCASTER – A Lancaster Township man charged with taking part in a shooting in a city park will have his case proceed to county court. 18-year-old Keyshawn Williams waived a preliminary hearing on charges of aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, and conspiracy to recklessly endanger another person. Williams and a 17-year-old co-conspirator, Jay-Quan Williams are accused of shooting the boy at Culliton Park in the 200 block of West Strawberry Street in Lancaster on Oct. 8, 2025. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to their cheek and required surgical intervention. Video shows both suspects arriving at the park and stalking a group which included the victim. The two can then be seen confronting the group and an argument ensues. Jay-Quan Williams fired the weapon at the victim and the two flee. Keyshawn Williams is in Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail. Jay-Quan Williams is at the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center in lieu of $250,000 bail after waiving a preliminary hearing on attempted criminal homicide and other charges.
