WEST LAMPETER TOWNSHIP – Lancaster County authorities are investigating a shooting. On Sunday at 1:12 a.m., police responded to the 1400 block of Old Lampeter Road for a shooting. Officers located spent shell casings in the street and bullet holes in a dwelling on that block. A male victim showed up by private vehicle to a local hospital with a gunshot wound. He advised staff he was at a party in West Lampeter Township when he was shot. A male juvenile victim from Coatesville showed up by private vehicle at a local hospital and advised he was shot at the residence. Both victims had non-life-threatening injuries. The dwelling is an Air BNB rental and reports say there was a large gathering at the property prior to the shots being fired. Police believe there may have been an altercation just prior to the shots being fired. No one was at the house when police arrived. A male juvenile was located in the block and was arrested for possessing a firearm without a license. The investigation continues.
