DAUPHIN COUNTY – A Sunday shooting in Harrisburg is under investigation. Around 2:30 a.m., officers were in the 200 and 300 blocks of North 2nd Street for bar and restaurant closings. While in that area, police heard multiple shots fired in the area of North 2nd and Locust Streets. Police found a single adult male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was last listed in critical condition. Other officers in the area located a potential person of interest. That individual attempted to flee, but was caught after a short foot pursuit. The individual did attempt to discard a firearm while fleeing from officers, but that firearm was recovered.
