CHESTER COUNTY – State Police in Chester County are investigating a fatal shooting. Last Thursday, April 25 around 6:17 p.m., troopers responded to the 200 block of Willshire Drive in East Marlborough Township. Upon arrival, troopers encountered 76-year-old Roger Hanks of Kennett Square in the garage of the residence and was later taken into custody. Located within the residence were two family members who suffered fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. One victim was a 75-year-old female from Kennett Square and the second victim, a 37-year-old woman from Chicago, IL. Hanks was charged with two counts of criminal homicide and remanded to Chester County Prison in lieu of bail.
