LANCASTER COUNTY – Police in Lancaster County responded to a fatal vehicle accident on Monday, May 27 around 7:59 p.m. that occurred in the 400 block of West Lincoln Avenue, between Arrowhead Drive and South Walnut Street, in Lititz. Initial 911 calls reported a vehicle crashed into a telephone pole and a subject had been ejected. First arriving officers found a single occupant of the vehicle on the roadway. The person was rushed by ambulance to the hospital where they were died from their injuries. Police identified the driver as an adult male, but is withholding their identity until family members are notified. The investigation into the crash, including any contributing factors, is ongoing. A preliminary investigation suggests the vehicle was traveling eastbound on West Lincoln Avenue before crossing into and across the westbound travel lane prior to striking the telephone pole.
