EPHRATA – Ephrata Police are investigating an incident in which a child fell from the window of a 4th floor apartment. At 1:18 p.m. yesterday, responders were dispatched to the 400 block of Washington Avenue for a report of a child injured from a fall. Police arrived and conducted a medical assist as well as a preliminary investigation which revealed that a 4-year-old child fell from the apartment window. Family members rushed to his aid and he remained conscious and alert throughout the response. He was transported by Ephrata Ambulance to a landing site at Stevens Fire Company, where LifeLion transported him to Hershey Medical Center.
