MANHEIM TOWNSHIP – On November 25, 2023, Manheim Township Police, Fire Rescue and Ambulance responded to a vehicle accident with rollover on York Rd at Lititz Pk. Responders arrived to find two vehicles involved, one on its roof. It was determined in the overturned vehicle had been a family of four, including two small children. Fortunately, all were properly restrained with seatbelts and child safety seats, which prevented what could have been a severe injury. This is a reminder that properly restraining your children in a properly installed car seat can be the difference between going home or going to the hospital! MTPD has officers trained in the proper installation of child car seats.
