MOUNTVILLE – A fatal fire at a home in Mountville, Lancaster County, was caused by careless smoking, according to a PSP Fire Marshal. The blaze happened Friday after 3:15 a.m. in the 100 block of Froelich Avenue. 65-year-old Robert Enochs was taken to a hospital and later died from his injuries. Crews worked for approximately an hour and 40 minutes to get the fire under control. The fire had spread from the initial residence to an adjoining residence causing fire damage to both properties.
