LANCASTER – Summer heat is in the forecast for the beginning of this week according to AccuWeather Meteorologist Jason Caterina. Temperatures will surge into the 90s today through Wednesday with AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures expected near 100 degrees during the period. The sudden heat may make it difficult for sensitive individuals to adjust to the dramatic change in temperatures. Stay cool in air conditioned locations and well hydrated if you must be outside during the period. The heat is also expected to worsen drought conditions in parts of the mid-Atlantic. By this Thursday, high temperatures will drop and only be in the 60’s.
