YORK COUNTY – The York County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim involved in a suspicious death investigation. Police responded last Saturday to the 300 block of E. King Street in York City for a reported death in a residence. A female victim was discovered. She was identified as 50-year-old Jori Burt of York. An autopsy performed yesterday found the cause of death was from a gunshot wound. The manner of death is still pending. York City Police are still investigating the case.
