LANCASTER – There’s an elevated risk of wildfire spread this afternoon. Minimum relative humidity values will be between 30 and 35 percent over the bulk of our region. Windy conditions are also in the forecast. Persons are urged to use caution if handling any potential ignition sources, such as machinery, tobacco products like cigarettes or cigars, or the use of matches. If dry grasses or tree litter burns, the fire will have the potential to spread rapidly.
