ANNAPOLIS, MD (AP) – Maryland voters have selected Democrat Angela Alsobrooks to the U.S. Senate. In a deeply blue state where a Republican hasn’t won a Senate race in more than 40 years, Alsobrooks defeated Republican Larry Hogan , who served as governor of the state. Democrats outnumber Republicans 2-1 in the state. Maryland voters also approved Question 1 which adds a Reproductive Freedom Amendment to Maryland’s Constitution.
