LANCASTER – Two Lancaster women were convicted of breaking into a Lancaster Township home and assaulting a teenage victim in August 2022. 38-year-old Jajaira Ramirez and 26-year-old Najee Ramirez were found guilty by jury of burglary, corruption of minors, and simple assault following a three-day trial. The jury returned its verdict after nearly four hours of deliberations. Prosecutors showed the Ramirez women were involved in a verbal argument that turned physical with two victims in the 800 block of Sterling Place. Both will be sentenced at a later date. A juvenile defendant had their case resolved in juvenile court while another co-defendant, Aisha Kemmerer, has a pending case.
