LANCASTER – A Lancaster County teen charged with unleashing a hail of gunfire on a family home in an early morning shooting will have his case proceed to county court. 17-year-old Trevor Losch of Ephrata waived his preliminary hearing on aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, possession of a firearm by a minor, and other charges. Losch is accused of firing some 17 to 18 shots at a home in the first block of Deep Hollow Lane in Lancaster Township during the early morning of May 28, 2025. Multiple adults and children were inside the residence at the time of the shooting. No one was injured, though the home sustained extensive damage. A vehicle parked in front of the residence was also damaged by the gunfire. Police recovered numerous spent cartridge casings, projectile fragments, and unfired ammunition from the road in front of the residence. Texts between Losch and a juvenile co-defendant indicated they planned the shooting in the days leading up to it. Losch remains in the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center on $250,000 bail.
