LANCASTER – A Lancaster County couple is facing charges after a minor child was found to have illegal drugs in their system. On November 19, 2024, police responded to the 500 block of E. Main Street in Ephrata for a class 1 medical call. The victim, a minor child was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment. It was later determined that the minor child had cocaine in their system. Through a yearlong investigation, it was determined that 30-year-old Elizabeth Nolan and 31-year-old Angelo Zeno, both of Ephrata, left cocaine out while there were minor children in the residence. The two failed to keep the minor from being exposed to the cocaine. Nolan and Zeno were later charged with endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person. Both turned themselves in before a magisterial district justice on January 2, 2026, where they were arraigned. Bail was set at $20,000 unsecured with a requirement of drug testing. Both were released.
