LANCASTER – Our region is under a heat advisory which runs now through 8 p.m. tonight. Hot and humid conditions will raise heat index values up to 102 degrees. The heat and humidity could lead to heat related illnesses. If you must be outside, make sure you drink plenty of water for hydration and use air conditioning or go to air conditioned spaces. The hot and stormy weather is also expected on Saturday.
