LANCASTER COUNTY – A crash that happened yesterday morning in Lancaster County has claimed a life. It happened around 6:40 a.m. in the area of Creek Hill and Hartman Station Roads in East Lampeter Township. Authorities say a pickup truck traveling east on Creek Hill Road crossed over the oncoming lane and struck a tree on the north side of the road. The impact caused a fire and trapped the driver inside. The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and declared the 63-year-old driver from Lancaster dead.
