Ever wonder how a brand new musical evolves from creation to production? Come listen to a full-length staged reading of “Audience of One,” performed by a cast of 16 youth and 13 adults with a five-piece band on Saturday April 27th at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown. This is the story of a church youth choir that opts out of its summer choir tour in favor of a concert, just for God, on a mountaintop. While sensing that their trip is a holy invitation, a shoplifting incident and unfavorable weather conditions threaten to derail their plans and challenge their faith. Inspired by a true story, this staged reading is the step in the process before a summer production.
