Topic: The 2024 Solar Eclipse

We welcome Mr. George Michael as our guest speaker tonight. Come learn about one of the grand events of the sky in 2024, a solar eclipse, with 90.58% obscuration in Lancaster and see a map showing the route of total eclipse. The presentation will describe the geometry of a total solar eclipse, how an eclipse demonstrates the majesty and complexity of God’s creation, as well as personal pictures from previous eclipses in Togo West Africa (2006) and Tennessee (2017). Also hear how to view an eclipse safely and what to do now to prepare for the eclipse.
