HARRISBURG – PA’s Republican and Democrat Parties have given their respective endorsements for candidates for governor and lieutenant governor. Members of the GOP State Committee have backed Stacy Garrity for governor and Jason Richey for lieutenant governor. Richey is an Allegheny County attorney with K&L Gates LLP, community leader, and husband and father of three sons. He put himself through college on a wrestling scholarship and worked his way through law school in western PA steel mills. PA Democrats are endorsing incumbent Gov. Josh Shapiro and Lt. Gov. Austin Davis to run for a second term.
