LEBANON – A shooting and fire investigation is underway in Lebanon. Around 4 a.m. today, officers responded to the 500 block of S. 9th Street and found one person with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital. While on scene, officers saw smoke and flames coming from a nearby apartment. Fire crews were notified and responded to extinguish the fire. During a search of the affected unit following the fire, a second individual was located inside, also suffering from gunshot wounds. That individual was deceased. Detectives believe both incidents are related and the persons involved were all known to one another.
