LANCASTER – The PA Department of Environmental Protection has issued another Code Orange Air Quality Alert for our region through midnight tonight. A Code Orange Air Quality Alert means that air pollution concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for sensitive groups including children, people suffering from asthma, heart disease or other lung diseases, and the elderly. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 9 a.m. today for Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, & York Counties. Visibility of one quarter mile or less has been reported. Allow extra time for your morning commute. If you must drive this morning, slow down, use your low-beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
