LANCASTER COUNTY – A Lancaster County woman has been charged with killing two people in a fiery crash in 2023. 51-year-old Beth Fife of East Earl Township was charged with two counts of homicide by vehicle, two counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts recklessly endangering another person, and three summary traffic offenses. Fife was traveling westbound along West 28th Division Highway in Penn Township when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into another car in the eastbound lanes of shortly before noon Dec. 1, 2023. The other vehicle’s occupants, Allen English and Grace English-Rohrer, were killed as a result of the collision. A subsequent investigation revealed that Fife was traveling nearly 40 mph above the posted speed limit when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed into oncoming traffic, striking English and English-Rohrer’s vehicle and causing it to catch fire. Fife is currently free on $300,000 unsecured bail.
