LANCASTER – The region is under a Cold Weather Advisory until 10 a.m. today, January 27th. Another Cold Weather Advisory starts this evening at 7 and goes through 10 a.m. tomorrow, January 28th. Very cold wind chills from 10- 15 degrees below zero are expected. Use caution if you must be outside. Dress in layers and wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Cover all skin surfaces as hypothermia or frostbite could occur if precautions are not taken. The cold has caused schools to close or shift to a flexible instruction/virtual learning day today.
