LANCASTER –A Lancaster man is facing charges after a fatal shooting. On April 14 around 9:51 a.m., police responded to a residence in the 400 block of North Mulberry Street and found an adult male gunshot victim, identified as 24-year-old Demetrius Williams. Williams was transported to the hospital, but later died from his injuries. An investigation identified the shooter as 25-year-old David Pearce. Investigators determined the two knew each other, establishing this was an isolated incident, and there was no ongoing threat to the public. Pearce is being charged with involuntary manslaughter and recklessly endangering another person. He is being held in Lancaster County Prison.
