GETTYSBURG (AP) – An American extradited from France in a 2013 campus sexual assault case has waived his right to a court hearing in PA this week. 32-year-old Ian Cleary will remain in custody until a formal arraignment in March. Cleary is accused of sneaking into the victim’s dorm and sexually assaulting her at Gettysburg College. Cleary, of Saratoga, California, is represented by a public defender who declined to comment on the case Monday. Cleary left Gettysburg after the alleged encounter and finished college in California before moving to Europe.
