ROCK SPRINGS – Penn State’s Ag Progress Days gets underway today through this Thursday. Sponsored by Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences, Ag Progress Days features nearly 500 commercial and educational exhibits, guided research and conservation tours, workshops and presentations, machinery demonstrations, horse exhibitions, family and youth activities, and much more. It takes place at the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center at Rock Springs, 9 miles southwest of State College on PA Route 45. Attendees can enjoy hands-on activities for kids, a butterfly house, live wildlife and farm animals, drone and farm-safety demonstrations, and antique equipment — some in working order.
